Exposing EFL Students’ FLRA in Reading Section: The Case of TOEFL Course

Foreign Language Reading Anxiety (FLRA) becomes increasingly crucial for EFL students since it prevents the learners' reading grasp. This study reports on college students’ reflections reading. The study's main objective was to determine students' anxiety levels and discover most potential factors contributing in TOEFL Test. It administered 22 of English Department Universitas Pembinaan Masyarakat Indonesia using purposive sampling academic year 2022/2023. To achieve this purpose, utilized both quantitative qualitative approaches. data were collected a Scale (FLRAS) questionnaire with five-point Likert scale participants an interview sheet examine their its factors. results demonstrate that student's 18% low category, 64% medium high category. indicates they experienced level while unfamiliar vocabulary unknown topics, fear making mistakes identified as significant factor FL anxiety.
